My midday mourning
Saw darkness dawning
I changed that view
For the light of you
When you let me turn it off
In my electric envy
I hate the way my spurning of
You sends us into our frenzy
Then in this madness
The jealousy dies
I thwart your sadness
It makes me realise
Yours is the cause
No one can transcend
The life of yours
On which I depend
And the likes of you require an awning.
