I attended my first ever Sketchmeet tonight! It’s a very relaxed social gathering for people who drawing, located in London near King’s Cross (next to Central Saint Martins).

So, I’ve been thinking about doing some sketches like this for a while. Finally, finally… I have actually made a start! The inspiration for this one is Valentine’s Day.

One of many assorted objects my tutor brought in for me and my class peers to draw. I spent about a day on this still life study, sketched with a HB pencil on plain paper as part of an introductory second-year university project.
